Start your Friday night with movement, music, and the magic of belly dance!
Whether youโre brand new to this beautiful art form or a dancer looking to refine your technique, this workshop is the perfect way to connect with your body, express yourself, and feel empowered.This is more than just a class - itโs a chance to explore the joy of dance in a welcoming and supportive space. Youโll be guided step by step, so all you need to bring is an open mind, your favourite coin belt, and a love for trying something new. In this workshop, we will:
Learn the essential movesย inspired by the rich cultures of the SWANAHT (South West Asian, North African, Hellenic, Turkish) regions.
Discover approachable waysย to master shimmies, undulations, hip drops, figure eights and more - all broken down into simple steps.
Learn how to combineย powerful accents with soft, flowing movements to find your unique style.
Feel the rhythms, connect with melodies, and move in harmony with music of the SWANAHT regions.
No experience needed! Whether youโre rediscovering your love of movement, or taking your first steps into belly dance, our goal is to leave you feeling energised, confident, and connected.

In this open level choreography workshop, youโll learn a fun and expressive belly dance combination that weโll be building step-by-step. Itโs a great way to:
Explore how moves connect with music, and how to dance with intention.
Practice transitions, flow and stage presence.
And most importantly, get you brimming with confidence and get a good workout in!
Whether youโre still getting comfortable with the basics or already have some experience, youโll be able to join in and dance at your own pace!
